About
The name Genesis translates to "the beginning". God created the world in six days and took rest on the seventh day. Likewise, we have worked 6 years on our dream to create Genesis Apartments, and were able to receive guests in the 7th year. As such, we could not have thought of a better name for our charming holiday apartments!
We are a friendly family from Curaçao which, throughout the years, also lived in the Netherlands We have many Dutch friends and acquaintances, and as such know what is valued when going on holiday. Now that we are back on the island of Curaçao, we aimed to create a place where Dutch people, among others, could feel at home - offering the right facilities at a fair price. As a family we pledge to ensure you, as our guest, to receive the best care and thoroughly enjoy your stay with us at Genesis Apartments.
Together with the family we have built the entire complex and put all our loving energy in its foundation. In all humility, we are very proud of the result and are confident that you, as our prided guest, will have a great stay and unforgettable experience.
A holiday in an apartment such as Genesis Apartments offers just a little more freedom than, for example, a hotel or a Bed & Breakfast. With an apartment you have more space - with your own living room and kitchen, your own balcony, terrace or garden and because it is often set up on a smaller scale than a hotel, you still have all the peace and privacy that you need during your holiday.
Genesis Apartments is a few hundred meters from the famous Jan Thiel beach. Here you can enjoy breakfast in a bustling beach bar or spend the afternoon lounging in a hammock with your favorite book and a fresh smoothie.
Half an hour's drive from Genesis Apartments you are on the west side of the island, with the most beautiful beaches such as Grote Knip, Cas Abou, Porto Marie, Lagun and Playa Forti.
